One of Uganda’s leading comedy group, Fun Factory Uganda yesterday announced that they will be celebrating 10 years of existence and togetherness in a 5-Star Madness show at Serena Hotel. The celebratory show will be held on Holy Thursday, April 9.

Fun Factory turned 10 years on January 5 this year but the group says they couldn’t hold a show then because several actors in the entertainment industry had already announced dates in that period.

“We couldn’t celebrate this journey only just as group. We needed to celebrate with the fans that have supported us this long,” said Richard Tuwangye, one of the Directors in the group. Tickets are on sale at Shs80000 early birds and Shs100000 on the day.

On what has kept the group together for 10 years and counting, the group said it is among their rules that members are prohibited from engaging in romantic relationships.

“We treat ourselves as the same family. So no way you can have a romantic relationship with your father, mother, sister or brother,” they noted.

Fun factory will also take a countrywide tour with nine other shows in Mbarara, Mbale, Jinja, Gulu, Lira, and Masaka among other towns.
