Uganda’s Presidential candidature space is getting an over load as 29 candidates have already formally expressed interest to contest in the 2021 General Elections.

Among them is Kyadondo East legislator Hon Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine and during an interview today morning on NBS TV, the People Power Movement leader has claimed himself the ‘people’s choice.’

Bobi Wine believes the overwhelming support Ugandans have expressed to his message of change makes him suitable to lead the line in contesting against incumbent President Yoweri Museveni.

The legislator was asked if he would you step down if people identified another person.

He replied; “Certainly, but who will that be? We have just a few months to elections. I do not have trust in the elections, I believe in the people. This is not just an election, it is a mission.”

Bobi Wine is confident that if the forces of change come together, they make the majority of Ugandans which makes it possible for them to win an election.

“I know it will not be free and fair but we are the majority. We are reaching millions of people, that is why the regime is panicking,” he said.

Nevertheless, Bobi Wine does not have an issue if a thousand contenders come up to contest for the top office. What matters to him is seeing a free Uganda.
