He reveals that over 10000 of their boda bodas will be accessible all around Kampala and its suburbs.

Yesterday, President Yoweri Museveni suspended all public means of transport like buses, taxis, boda bodas, and tuku tukus for 14 days. Only Police, Army, and government vehicles, waste management trucks, cargo trucks and ambulances are allowed to carry people.

Boda bodas are only allowed to carry food and other essentials, whereas public cars are only allowed to carry not more than two people, including the driver. This is intended to limit movement and contact of people which will in turn prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Today joint security forces have been on the run with some members of the public who have failed to adhere to different directives.
