Celebrity Catholic priest Fr Deogratias Kiibi arrested after he was found preaching in church

Renowned Catholic priest Fr Deogratias Kiibi has been arrested by the Police after he was found preaching in a church in Mpigi. According to reports, the priest had gathered hundreds of followers in church, an act that was banned by President Yoweri Museveni 10 days ago.

Kiibi is currently being detained at Mpigi Police Station as they wait to contact stakeholders in the Catholic Church.

Today being a Sunday, different religions have held their church services through Television/Radio live broadcast while others have preached via social media.
