Cultural institutions in Uganda have come out and contributed relief items and cash in battle to combat the deadly COVID-19. The Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi last week made a contribution of Shs100 million.

Days later, Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom also donated Shs60 million towards the same cause of fighting against coronavirus. Yesterday, President Museveni revealed that the taskforce has so far collected Shs4.4 billion and 31 vehicles in donations.
