Entebbe Grade B Hospital has today afternoon discharged nine people who have fully recovered from COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the hospital’s medical superintendent, Moses Muwanga, nine people have been discharged this afternoon and not ten as earlier communicated because the process of sensitising one recovered patient’s community is still ongoing.

Five of the people discharged are part of the 11 members of the Watoto Church Children’s Choir. The group was confirmed positive on March 31.

The total number of recoveries in Uganda has now risen to 37. The number of active COVID-19 cases is now 18. No COVID-19 death has been recorded in Uganda yet.
