With his release from police detention surrounded with controversies, Mityana Municipality Member of Parliament Francis Zaake was last night rushed to Kiruddu National Referral Hospital as his health condition allegedly worsened.

Kyadondo East legislator Hon Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has revealed that Zaake is currently being treated with oxygen. He said he might soon be transferred to the Intensive Care Unit as he’s totally in terrible health condition.
“Hon Zaake’s health condition has worsened. He has now been placed on oxygen at Kiruddu hospital where he is admitted and still under police detention. The doctors are contemplating taking him into the ICU. A Member of Parliament is tortured to near death by regime enforcers!” Bobi tweeted.

Zaake is said to have been tortured by security operatives while in detention following his arrest last week. He is accused of going against presidential directive of food distribution.
