Former Presidential Press Secretary, Tamale Mirundi has called off his weekly One on One political show on NBS TV hosted by Uganda Journalists Association (UJA) President, Kazibwe Bashir Mbaziira. Mirundi’s exit takes effect today on Tuesday, June 16.

The unapologetic analyst has been appearing to NBS every Tuesday to discuss a series of issues happening in the country. However, while on that show, he is known for poking an alleged ‘Mafia’ gang in the current regime and it is only President Museveni who survives his attacks.

Mirundi’s quitting was first confirmed by one of his son, Joseph Tamale Mirundi Jr. who yesterday on Monday, June 15, evening posted on his Facebook page saying, “My father Tamale Mirundi has left NBS. His usual program ‘one on one’ will not be taking place with effect from tomorrow. We shall be notifying you in case of any changes. Thank you.”

Next Media Services is yet to issue a statement on the matter.
