32 arrested for watching Arsenal Vs Liverpool past curfew time

Thirty two people were yesterday night arrested by police for violating Presidential directives and Ministry of Health guidelines of social distancing and curfew.

The 32 suspects were arrested while watching the premier league match between Arsenal and Liverpool at Katanga in Wandegeya, Kampala.

Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, Patrick Onyango says the suspects are detained at Wandegeya Police Station. He also said that they have been charged with disobedience of lawful orders and doing acts likely to spread infectious disease which is corona virus.
