Former Kampala Mayor Al hajji Nasser Ntege Ssebagala has confirmed that he will stand again for the Kampala Lord Mayor seat in the forthcoming elections.

“Yes, I am going to contest in this coming election and my manifesto is ready,” Ssebagala has revealed.

Ssebagala is back in the race and will use Bobi Wine’s People Power ticket to regain Kampala’s top Job.

“I already returned my nomination forms to People Power and I am the best candidate they can back to win them the race,” Ssebagala says.

For starters, this week singer Jose Chameleone also picked nomination forms from People Power for the same position.

However, Ssebagala claims his experience makes him exceptional from other candidates especially since he has successfully served in the position before. He was Mayor of Kampala from 2006 to 2011.

“I am back not to do politicking but to work for the development of Kampala. Since I left office, our leaders have concentrated on fighting battles,” he says.

So far, popular candidates have expressed their intentions to run for the Kampala Lord Mayor Seat and these include; musicians Ragga Dee, Chameleone, Kampala Woman MP Nabilah Naggayi and incumbent Erias Lukwago.
