Despite recently falling prey to the government ‘mafias’ as he was fired from most of his media shows, former presidential press secretary, Tamale Mirundi still holds his former boss President Yoweri Museveni in high regard when it comes to elections.

Museveni through his lawyer Edwin Karugire yesterday picked National Resistance Movement (NRM) nomination forms for the position of party chairman and Presidential flag bearer.

According to Tamale, Museveni has already won the upcoming presidential election.

“Whenever you see Museveni picking nomination forms, it’s a sure win for him. All the candidates you see in opposition are his agents including Besigye,” Tamale said.

He said Museveni is so calculative that he can never participate in an election where he’s not sure of winning.

When asked about the new threat posed by Robert Kyagulanyi, Mirundi claimed that Bobi Wine was created by the NRM Mafias to trap Museveni for money.

Nevertheless Tamale adamantly stated that Bobi Wine’s popularity will not translate into votes.
