Nakaseke Member of Parliament Hon Lutamaguzi Ssemakula has said that the current political situations have distinctively divided Uganda into two camps.

Speaking during NBS’ The Eagle Show, Lutamaguzi said Uganda is now comprised of the ‘oppressor’ (those in government) and the ‘oppressed’ (those in opposition). He further revealed that in such state of affairs no one has liberty to be neutral.

“As of now in Uganda, you either subscribe to ‘Gun Power’ or People Power, no liberty to be neutral,” Lutamaguzi said.

According to Lutamaguzi who claimed to be on the side of the oppressed, there main agenda is to liberate the country. He said no party in the opposition or individual has the monopoly to lead the struggle.

“This is not a battle to determine which political party leads the struggle. We follow parties or individuals with best values,” he said.

Lutamaguzi disclosed that though he’s a member of the Democratic Party, he will be supporting National Unity Platform President Hon Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine in the forthcoming presidential race.
