Boda Bodas have resumed business of carrying passengers today, however, over the weekend a set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) were issued by Government through Ministry of Works & Transport and Ministry of Security.

Works and Transport Minister General Katumba Wamala, cautioned against flouting the SOPs aimed at controlling the spread of COVID-19 in Uganda.

Katumba warned that failure to comply with the set SOPs may lead to another lockdown. He said that the set guidelines are not intended to inconvenience people but rather help to decongest the city for proper management.
