I cannot be bought off the struggle because the values I stand for are priceless- Bobi Wine

National Unity Platform (NUP) President Robert Kyagulanyi, popularly known for his stage name Bobi Wine has come out and advised his fellow musicians to stop falling for handouts from government to cripple their conscience.

Speaking during an interview on a local television, Bobi Wine was why it is taking him long to side with government just like how many local musicians are dancing to the tunes of the regime.

“Talents are God given. We should use them to inspire the masses,” Bobi Wine said.

Bobi Wine accused fellow musicians who are in bed with NRM of greed as he vowed never to exchange his values for anything. The legislator disclosed that on countless times he has been approached by government middle men with bags of money.

 “They have come to my home I don’t know how many times to bribe me.I cannot be bought off the struggle because the values I stand for are priceless,” Bobi Wine said.

On the new regulations on the entertainment industry, Bobi Wine said the move is political and called upon entertainers to come together and reject the regulations in the strongest terms possible.
