“I only see stories in the media but I haven’t received any summon,” said Fameica

Despite receiving great airplay, My property which was released in 2018 has also received a lot of criticism from feminists that disagree with the song lyrics that they say depict women as property worth purchasing and owning.

In the song Fik Fameica sings  My woman is My property, My Chapati, My bugati something which the feminists disagree with.

The song has also in the past received criticism from former Miss World Africa Quinn Abenakyo and some youth under Plan Uganda who petitioned for the song to be banned.

The song My property still receives airplay in the country.
