With different parties in the country vetting potential flag bearers for the parliamentary seats in different districts, renowned sports journalist Dhakaba Kigongo has expressed his dissatisfaction with the Forum for Democratic Change party Electoral Commission.

Dhakaba who is eyeing the Bugweri County parliamentary seat and is battling for the FDC flag with counsel Julius Galisonga says the party chose Galisonga over him.

“The party called a meeting yesterday and communicated with no reason that they had found Galisonga as a better candidate for Bugweri County,” said Dhakaba.

Dhakaba also revealed to Matooke Republic that he is today working on a petition and will tomorrow meet his delegates.

The sports journalists earlier this year resigned from his job at National Sports Council as required by the Electoral Commission before running for any parliamentary seat.

FDC is yet to make an official communication about the matter.
