Grief engulfed the comedy industry this week as one of their own Frank Mubiru known by many as Chiko lost his mother. A number of comedians were in Mityana to offer their support and condolences to their fellow comedian.

Chiko being in the entertainment industry, comedians were left in shock when among musicians only Bebe Cool’s son attended the burial.

“It’s so sad that we have lost our mother and thank you all comedians for the solidarity .I also can’t wait to thank singer Bebe Cool who called me and told me that he is far but sent his son Allan to represent him,” said  Madrat.

The comedians at the burial expressed their displeasure with musicians for not standing with them in their time of grief.

“It’s very sad that no musician appeared here apart from Bebe Cool who sent his son but others thinks they’re so big yet we are living better lives compared to them,” lamented the comedians.

The comedians also said that Ugandan musicians are heartless and very broke yet they always bail them out in their time of need.
