Museveni is a professional driver who has been driving Uganda for more than 30 years without causing accidents – Minister Anite says it’s pointless to ask for his academic papers

Electoral Commission’s delay to avail President Yoweri Museveni’s academic document as requested by National Unity Platform (NUP) member, Lawyer Muwada Nkunyingi is continuing to attract attention.

In a sarcastic manner, Investment Minister Hon. Evelyn Anite has said that it’s very unnecessary for the ‘Kampala based party’ NUP to focus on Museveni academic papers. She said Museveni had been tested and proved.

“What academic papers is NUP (a Kampala based party) looking for when the indomitable H.E Kaguta Museveni is a professional driver who’s been driving the NRM bus and Uganda for more than 30 years without causing accidents?” Anite lamented on her known twitter account.

Anite has urged NUP to relax and wait for 2021 elections results.

In September this year, Muwada wrote to the EC requesting to be availed with academic documents of Museveni which he used when he got nominated in 2016.
