During an interview renowned AIDs activists ,Matovu condemned Pastor Ssenyonga’s actions and requested the Uganda AIDS commission act to punish him for exposing the deceased’s family members particularly children to stigma from the community.

“Pastor Ssenyonga you have also sinned, many people and I believe that is the same way you will be judged. You are such a coward. You couldn’t tell him those words face-to-face when he was alive and you had to wait till he was dead and couldn’t even shake his body to expose him. At Uganda AIDs commissions please wakeup and punish him,” emotional Matovu said.

Pastor Yiga passed on, on Monday 26th October 2020 at Hospital Nsambya where he had been hospitalized for some weeks. He will be laid to rest today Sunday November 1st 2020 at his Kawaala Church.
