With the Electoral Commission promising to suspend campaigns of candidates who fail to comply with the SOPs, the Kampala Member of Parliament Hon. Muhammad Nsereko  has said that police is only blundering and people should be left to learn from the pain of Covid 19.

“Police can’t do anything. It is making blunders after blunders. You don’t have to beat people, let them suffer the pain of Covid 19 and then tell them this is what I told you,” said Nsereko

Nsereko who was on NBS Morning Breeze show called for fairness and also questioned if it’s only the National unity platform Presidential candidate Kyagulanyi campaigning.

“lt is not only Kyagulanyi that is campaigning. You can see Bebe Cool is doing the same for President and he is not beaten. If the president wants to crack the whip and be the real Commander in chief, Charity begins at home. Let us see the Bebe Cools abd the rest of NRM campaigning for him arrested,” said Nsereko

Nsereko also said that Covid is increasing because of campaigns but also said that the country had a choice not to do the elections.

He also said that the leading champion for change is Robert Kyagulanyi and If only the  opposition could unite and rally behind him, they would be a much stronger force
