Police recently accused the National Unity Platform presidential candidate Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine of defying the Electoral Commission guidelines and not using the stipulated routes assigned to him by the Commission, Bobi Wine has however responded to Police and said the force is acting with impunity and the EC is feigning ignorance.

“I don’t know if the Electoral Commission passed an order that I am not supposed to use tarmac roads or the main roads. I don’t know if the EC ordered that I am not supposed to address some campaign meetings that are on the schedule. The schedule that I have was confirmed by the Electoral Commission and it was harmonised by all candidates,” said Bobi.

Bobi also said that the EC chairperson Justice Byabakama continues to act ignorant despite his efforts to reach out to him about Police’s efforts to sabotage his campaigns.
