Following the eruption of free Bobi Wine protests which were sparked off by the arrest of Presidential candidate Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine in Luuka district that left many injured and more than 54 killed.

While addressing the nation, last Sunday President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni promised that the government will compensate families of the people who were killed in the city protests.

However, Kampala woman MP candidate Dr Stella Nyanzi has discouraged Ugandans from believing in Museveni’s promises because he is a liar.

While on NBS last night, Nyanzi said that Museveni always make promises to Ugandans but he never fulfills them.

“Museveni has said they are going to compensate the dead. He has not yet granted Ugandan women pads he promised. He also promised radios and Tvs,” said Nyanzi.

Nyanzi added that Museveni failed to provide pads to the Ugandan women that he promised them years back.
