The National Resistance Movement (NRM) presidential flag bearer, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni yesterday on Thursday December 3  kicked off his scientific campaigns in Busoga sub-region where he held  a meeting with party flag bearers and other leaders from  Bugiri, Namayingo, Bugweri, Namutumba, Iganga and Kaliro.

Museveni said that though NRM has achieved a lot in their three decades in power, a lot more issues are yet to be solved and that’s why he wants Ugandans to trust him with their votes for the sixth time.

The President said amongst the 11 presidential candidates, he’s most qualified to continue leading Uganda as he’s not seeking for power for personal gains rather for national development.

This is the NRM’s core mission and with the infrastructure already in place, we will enable more Ugandans join the money economy and improve household income,” Museveni said.

The NRM candidate Yoweri Museveni promised to bail out sugar cane growers in Busoga region who have been adversely affected by product price fluctuations.
