BOBI WINE: We are going to remove Museveni in less than a year

The National Unity Platform (NUP) party leader Kyagulanyi Robert Sentamu popularly known as Bobi Wine has vowed to assertively continue with the mission of ‘removing the dictator.’

Bobi Wine claimed President Yoweri Museveni used the Electoral Commission to impose himself on Ugandans for the next five years as President of Uganda.

Speaking during a meeting with NUP candidates that won various positions in the recently concluded elections, Bobi Wine said that Museveni should not be President of Uganda and as the party they’re willing to reclaim their win.

He gave examples of African leaders who claimed to have won elections and ended up being ousted in a short period.

“Hussein Mubarak and Omar Bashir all claimed to have won election before they were ousted. We are going to remove Museveni from power in less than a year. Ugandans voted him out but he has decided to impose himself on Ugandans,” Bobi Wine said.

He warned all the elected NUP leaders not to fall trap of Museveni’s strategies where he seduces opponents with ministerial posts.

“You’re the Bobi Wines in your respective areas and you should not betray your people,” he said.

Bobi Wine once again said that his party has overwhelming evidence to prove that the election was rigged. He added that the party is in discussion on their next move.
