Clever J’s former manager Peter Mugume alias MP Jesus has revealed how his star artist gave up on his comeback and music dream for a completely different profession.

The ‘Sumulula’ star allegedly decided to give away his studio equipment that was set up at his home to Pastor Bugingo and is now into welding.

MP Jesus revealed that towards the end of 2019 and the following year, Clever J was meant to make a mega comeback to the big music scene and that is when a decision was made to start managing the artist.

“I have managed Clever J since 2015 but ever since he became born again he has changed.  I bought him the equipment for the studio but I think he took them to Pastor Bugingo and now he is into welding,”

The former manager’s claims that things took a turn for the worse once Clever J became Born Again and adapted to the thought that only God should provide for him and he ends up throwing away whatever fellow people give him.

MP Jesus revealed the singer’s career change in an interview with YouTube content creator Sarkozy Farouk where he also revealed that the singer plunged himself back into poverty.

According to Clever J’s former manager, the singer now welds for a living around his home area to make some little money to get food for himself and his family.

It should be remembered that in 2019 fellow musicians, longtime fans and media had given Clever J the attention and support that any other artiste would need to make it on the big scene and he seemed to have the right mind to make a come back.
