Veteran ruling NRM cadre Captain Francis Babu has said that the party has very many people who can be leaders but some members in key positions of power tend to act special.

Babu says that acts of ‘favourism’ have spoilt their party as many act as if they are the best to happen to the party.

“NRM has people who think they are God’s gift to Uganda,” says Babu before adding that intimidation, threats and money have spoilt the politics of Uganda.

On the standoff in the Speaker of Parliament race, Babu suggests that NRM should drop both Rebecca Kadaga and Oulanyah so that to bring sanity in the race. He says many party cadres are eager to take key leadership roles.

However, he thinks that FDC’s Ssemujju Nganda should not be given chance because he is a spinner.
