Yesterday evening, stories of a missing groom made rounds on social media. It was reported that the groom to be Dr. Patrick Mbusa Kabagambe who was set to wed Christabell Banturaki at Holy Saints Cathredal went missing in a motor vehicle  UBH 905X on his wedding day.

However, today in a whatasp message meant for his family and friends, Dr. Mbusa has distanced himself from the reported allegations terming them as malicious.

“Dear Friends and family, I have been taken by surprise and indeed shocked when I saw a malicious statement circulating on WhatsApp and other social media platforms with a message that I had disappeared on the eve of my wedding day.I would like to make it clear that no wedding took place in the first place. I cancelled the wedding on Thursday 8th April, 2021. All key stakeholders had been made aware of my intentions,” stated Dr Mbusa

Dr, Mbusa also said that there was no picking up of the bride (Christabella Banturaki) and no guests were expected to turn up.

He also made it clear that he neither disappeared nor was he kidnapped but rather decided to cancel the wedding to clear off his head following a stressful period.

“I would also like to make it clear that at no point had I disappeared nor was I kidnapped to warrant such a malicious message. What is true is that l am alive and I simply took much-needed time off to clear my head following a very stressful period,” stated Dr. Mbusa.

He added that he’s alive and with family and close friends.

“In conclusion, I am alive and with my family and close friends. Please respect that this is a private family matter.Sincerely Dr. Mbusa Kabagambe Patrick,” stated Dr. Mbusa
