Mukono Municipality legislator Betty Nambooze has condemned a fellow legislator for offering bribes ahead of 11th parliament elections of Speaker and Deputy Speaker.

Keeping tight-lipped about the exact Member of Parliament, Nambooze said that the member is bringing the House into “disrepute” by going around offering bribes.

“Yesterday I was reading news and I was very sad, that our collegues who are about to join us, went to Kyankwanzi while in the bus feasting and drinking all sorts of beers and wines sponsored by somebody who want to come back as a deputy Speaker,” Nambooze told parliament.
