The on-going lockdown aimed at curbing Covid-19 has left majority of Ugandans stranded in their homes as they cannot work after various sectors were closed.

The most common outcry has been lack of food items in homes and a big section of the population is now surviving on donations from well-wishers and ‘Nabbanja money’ for those who have got a chance to receive the ‘ka message nti ntiiiiii’ on your phones.

There is a common saying ‘you don’t need to have too much to help others,’  a thoughtful boda boda rider has proved the saying right. He has surprised his client with food items.

The client who goes by the name of @MwizaSophy on Twitter has excitedly shared a package ‘donated’ to her by her boda boda guy.

“My Boda guy has bought me these things after realizing I haven’t been working since the lockdown started. My heart has melted. Be nice to everyone you never know when you will need them. I am so happy,” @MwizaSophy said in a tweet.

Such gesture means not all boda guys are goons, some indeed have kind and caring hearts.
