FUFA speaks out on Micho ‘status’

Local football governing body, FUFA has released a statement about Uganda Cranes Head Coach Milutin Sredojevic’s situation.

Micho has today been found guilty of two charges of sexual assault in Gqeberha in Nelson Mandela Bay. He has been reportedly sentenced to 3 years in prison, however, the sentence was suspended for 5 years.

His legal team was allowed to appeal the court’s conviction.

According to FUFA, Micho asked FUFA for permission to attend a private matter in South Africa.

“We have this afternoon received information that the private matter has been concluded for now.
The coach will come back to resume his duties accordingly,” said FUFA in a statement.
