Former Kamuli Municipality Parliamentary seat contestant Moses Bigirwa has been arrested by Police following an unsuccessful attempt to blackmail and extort over Shs100m from Deputy Speaker Anita Among.

Bigirwa was arrested at Among’s house in Nakasero where he had gone to pick the money. Audio evidence implicates Bigirwa in the crime.

Bigiriwa has also been linked to authorising a fictitious and malicious dossier that was intended to portray Among as a corrupt politician.
