Forget about those days when wearing socks with shorts was a trademark of clueless tourists, the borrowed style from the 1970s is now back with a 20’s touch.

With many wondering how they can pull off the youthful look, to get the look right, the trick is if the shorts stop above the knee wear long socks but not too long cause it makes the look sloppy.

And if the shorts are below the knee, wear short socks but not too short because it would make the look too old-fashioned.

Note, that the pair of shoes one decides to wear matters; make sure the socks you choose to wear, make a statement. The socks are supposed to be the focal point of your outfit.

While folding your socks might look slightly neater than rolling them, it’s still strange because it makes your ankles appear bulky. Instead, just wear your socks pulled straight up.
