Drama has ensued at Gulu Hospital after police blocked the transfer of Aruu County Member of Parliament, Odonga Otto from Gulu Regional Referral Hospital to Mulago Referral Hospital in Kampala.

According to Otto’s family members, their patient needs to be transferred to Mulago Hospital for better treatment. However, without giving reason police has blocked his transfer. His relatives claim that he might have been poisoned hence needs urgent and better treatment.

On Tuesday evening, Otto collapsed at Pader Central Police Station where he had gone to record a statement in relation to his alleged escape from police custody on January 6.
