The National Unity Platform President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu has today responded to President Museveni’s claims of NUP rigging the elections and killing it’s own supporters while blaming their death on the government.

“It’s funny to see that Museveni has no shame to claim that we stuffed ballot boxes with the help of the police. For General Museveni to claim that National Unity Platform rigged the elections means that the election was not free and fair,” said Bobi Wine

Bobi Wine said that Ugandans voted him and he won Gen. Museveni in the 2021 General elections. He also added that since the President claims NUP rigged ,the elections should be audited.

“Here is the old man claiming that we rigged the election. It now makes more sense for the elections to be audited. Why not have an audit into the election?,” said Bobi Wine

Bobi Wine also said that for Gen. Museveni to accuse NUP of killing it’s own supporters simply means that the NRM government has resumed using it’s National Resistance Army bush tactics

“Some  of Gen. Museveni’s colleagues have in the past revealed that when they were in the bush they would dress up like the army and kill people. Gen. Museveni also said that they will return to their NRA tactics. We know the regime has been killing people, that’s how they have been operating,” said Bobi Wine

Bobi Wine also gave an account of unsolved muder cases that have happened in the country in the past years.

“Many moslem sheikhs were killed. Abiriga was killed. When Gen. Museveni came out after  the murder of Zebra, the boxing champion. He accepted that Zebra was killed  because of insecurity. Police said that they were waiting for orders from Gen. Museveni to arrest the killers,” stated Bobi Wine.

Bobi Wine added that they  are concerned that Gen. Museveni might be intending to kill NUP supporters.

“We are not safe, Museveni thinks of killing and not reasoning. Should our people be killed we hold it on Museveni,” said Bobi Wine

Bobi Wine also said that they are delivering a letter demanding the release of their people that continue to be abducted by the SFC and Should their people not be released they will continue to protest.
