Bobi Wine returns to Uganda after traversing several countries

Former presidential candidate Bobi Wine real name Robert Kyagulanyi has returned to Uganda according to the National Unity Platform (NUP) Secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya.

Bobi Wine left the country last week on Friday for four official working days. Joel Ssenyonyi, the party spokesperson said that he was set to meet several leaders and fellow strugglists on the African continent in furtherance of their struggle for freedom and democracy.

Rubongoya has this afternoon shared a photo of him together with Bobi Wine on his Facebook and captioned it “Mr President welcome back.”

Meanwhile NUP party has today held prayers for its colleagues that are under security detention and also given Easter packages to their families.

Rubongoya said; “We continue to support our comrades who are under illegal detention even as we demand for their release. Today, we conducted prayers and extended a hand to their families, to enable them go through this Easter weekend. Grateful to all who continue to support these efforts.”
