Kawempe North MP-elect, Muhammad Ssegirinya was yesterday released by Buganda Road Magistrate’s Court after spending almost a month at Kitalya Prison.

Court granted him a cash bail of Shs3 million. His sureties were each bonded Shs50m, not cash. They were also ordered to deposit their national IDs in court and ordered to return to court on May 12, for further hearing of the case.

Mr Updates is known for always mobilising bail money for supporters through his social media. His well-wishers and followers did exactly the same as they collected his bail money on Facebook live.
