Akon expected to attend Museveni’s Swearing in Ceremony

From planning to set up the futuristic Akon city in Uganda to now being expected to attend President Museveni’s inauguration ceremony next month, renowned singer Akon is soon becoming one of us.

Reliable sources have informed us that Akon who was recently in the country will be returning in the country.

So , ‘Freedom’ singer is expected to return back to be part of the company that will attend inauguration of President Yoweri Museveni scheduled to place on 12th next among other 15 head of states as he swear in for his sixth term.

According to our source, Akon told the President how he would love to attend the inauguration.

 However, State House is yet to comment, confirm or deny the news.

A total number of 15 heads of State have been invited to the inauguration of President Yoweri Museveni set for next month.

The incumbent, Yoweri K Museveni was declared winner of the January, 14 polls.

The list of dignitaries to whom invitations have been sent to attend the function includes 15 heads of state.

The list Includes; Uhuru Kenyatta(Kenya), Samia Suluhu Hassan(Tanzania) Cyril Ramaphosa(South Africa), Salva Kiir(South Sudan), Paul Kagame(Rwanda), Felix Tshisekedi(DRC), Teodoro Obiang Nguema(Equatorial Guinea), Emmerson Mnangagwa (Zimbabwe) and Edgar Lungu (Zambia) .
