To many MC Ollo is a vibrant NBS Teens show presenter and upcoming artist, what many don’t know is Stanley Odongo’s  from ‘Grass to Grace’ story.

Today while on Sanyuka TV, Ollo shared a story on his TV journey and how he became MC Ollo. He says his appeal was questionable as he had no money to buy himself clothes which perhaps had a hand in the reason as to why he was denied a job at NTV.

” At the time NTV announced auditions for a teens show host which was hosted by Sheilah Gashumba , I had been working for five years on NBS television without being paid ,” narrated Olla during a show with NBS’ Anatalia.

“For sure I had no expensive clothes but I was able to get a jean and a Tshirt from Banda market after selling scrap. I got to NTV and a man named Raymond asked me whether I had showered and proceeded to hand me his business card. He then requested me to leave the place without giving me a chance to express myself. I felt bad that day but I didn’t give up I went back to NBS and now I am not complaining,” Olla added.
