Earlier this week, musician Pius Mayanja popularly known as Pallaso claimed that he jump-started former Team No Sleep (TNS) member Sheebah Kalungi and Spice Diana’s music careers.

The former TNS singer took offence when a question about an allegation that he stole the song ‘Nalonda Nemaala’ came up during a live local television interview.

The singer rubbished the allegation by upcoming artiste, King Avidon saying he is too talented and the accusation held no ounce of truth.

“I am so talented and I can’t steal a song. You all remember when I returned from US, I jump-started the careers for two of the biggest female artists in the country.  I am the one who jumpstarted Sheebah’s career with ‘Go down low’ hit and I also unlocked Spice Diana’s career recording with her ‘Koona’ song. I did not even have a manager then. So how do I steal a song? These are people who just do not want to see us prosper,” Pallaso said.

Ever Since Pallaso decided to relocate from the US and settle in Uganda, he has been trying hard to establish himself from upcoming to top artiste.

He finally achieved it last year 2020 with his song ‘Malamu’ which topped the charts and received massive airplay as the song of the year.
