As the country battles a second wave of Covid 19, the Ministry of Health late last month designated Kololo Independence grounds as a Covid 19 vaccination point.  However today, the vaccination has been halted to prepare the ceremonial grounds for the State of Nation Address.

“Covid 19 vaccination at Kololo Independence grounds halted as the grounds are being prepared for the state of Nation address,” tweeted the Ministry of Health Public Relations officer Ainebyona Emmanuel.

From the time the grounds were opened up for vaccination on May 28, over 6000 people were being vaccinated on a daily.
