Kabinda Kalimina, a news anchor on Zambia’s KBN TV is making headlines in Zambia after he made rants about his employers on a live TV.

While reading the news bulletin, Kalimina protested about the delayed salaries at KBN saying they (employees) are humans who deserve to be paid on time. His rant was cut short by the producer who ended the bulletin.

According to the news websites in Zambia, after his live protest Kalimina went live on his Facebook page where he insulted the television station’s owner Kennedy Mambwe but deleted it minutes later.

Mambwe is said to have released a statement where he describe Kalimina’s action as a ‘drunken behaviour.’

“We strongly condemn that despicable behaviour and urge members of the public to treat that ‘One-Night stunt of Fame’ with the contempt it deserves. As management, we are carrying out investigations to determine how a drunken part time presenter found himself on air unabated and disciplinary action will be taken against anyone who may have been party to the scheme,” Mambwe is quoted to have said.
