Police rescues a one-month baby who was stolen from the mother shortly after birth

Police has recovered a one month old baby that was stolen from the mother immediately after birth at China Uganda Friendship Hospital on June 29.
According to the Public Relations Officer, Charles Twiine, the Suspect was traced through Police surveillance Camera and arrested from Kubili.

Twiine also said that a DNA has been conducted on the baby and the legitimate mother has been identified.
The Suspect who was masquerading to be a nurse finally confessed to the crime and revealed that he connived with the care taker.

He also said that the baby will be handed over to the parents tomorrow at the Criminal Investigation Directorate headquarters.
