Their lawyers told journalists that the two have been charged with three counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.

The lawyers said that State alleges that the duo on the night of August 23 2021 murdered three people on Ssetaala village located in Masaka.

Earlier on yesterday, Police spokeperson Fred Enanga revealed that the two legislators have links to the murders in the greater Masaka.

He said these were implicated by the arrested suspects who are currently in police custody.

Enanga stated that the suspects admitted that they were recruited by the two MPs and promised wealth during a meeting in Ndeeba if they accomplished the job.
