Former Presidential candidate and National Unity Platform (NUP) party President Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has disclosed that singer Jose Chameleone real name Joseph Mayanja has never been a NUP member.

Chameleone yesterday denounced NUP and the news has since gone viral. The celebrated musician who once vied for the NUP flag to contest for Kampala Lord Mayor seat publically said that he is a true member of the ruling NRM party and distanced himself from NUP.

“My friend, I am still your family, If you doubt that, put out your cameras and record. My greatest witness can be Mr. Toyota my friend I am still NRM I am not anywhere else,” said Chameleone after being handed a Range Rover vehicle.

Speaking during an interview on a local TV today morning, Bobi Wine said; “I didn’t introduce Jose Chameleone before you as a member of People Power or NUP, he introduced himself and I won’t look at his behavior in line of money but rather his dignity.”
