Lydia Jazmine has revealed that while artists are doing small gigs such as birthdays and baby showers, these are not the kind of gigs they should be doing but it is only for the sake of survival that they do.

She made these revelations while appearing on a local television gossip show late last night to discuss the pandemic and the state of the industry at the moment.

In the interview, she confessed to these two years of the Covid-19 pandemic being a challenge to everybody including musicians themselves.

She cited the fact that artistes have not been working as much as they have been on previous occasions since the industry is practically shut down.

Regardless of the hardships, she acknowledges God’s favor and providence amidst the hardships.

She notes that she has been getting a lot of endorsements and further explained how other artistes are surviving off the endorsements as well.

Musically, she notes that she is preoccupied with thoughts of dropping the song of the year and nothing short. She further revealed that she is obsessed with quality over quantity and she just does not embark on projects just for the sake of it.

She revealed that the song is already in the pipeline and the only thing missing is a collaborator who she is yet to reveal.
