Social media critic and controversial political commentator, Frank Gashumba has vowed to join the next government after President Yoweri Museveni as he wants to enjoy the privileges that come with holding a big position in government.

According to Gashumba, for long he has endured the pains of opposing the regime.

“I will make sure I serve in the next government. Being in the opposition is painful. I can not keep buying fuel year in year out like this,” said Gashumba while speaking on NBS Amasengejje.

The self-styled activist holds no position in any of the opposition parties but he’s a renowned Dr. Kizza Besigye fanatic as he has always claimed to contribute funds to his past presidential campaigns.

Gashumba describes Besigye as the most consistent opposition leader. He, however, also labeled Museveni the most talented politician in Uganda.

“If they tell him (Museveni) to get one vote in the Ghetto, he will surely go there.

President Museveni realized that there was a weak link as regards to the youth and opted to use musicians to reach out to the youth. Kusasira, Butcher Man, and Bebe Cool helped the President a lot,” said Gashumba.
