E- Concert returns with UG Hope Concert

As artistes are clamouring and clinging on the President’s promise to get back on stage by January, the Uganda National Cultural Centre in partnership with Next media services will this Saturday December 18 host a virtual concert dubbed the UG Hope Concert.

The much anticipated online concert will be in honour of the 21 musicians that walked away with the Janzi gongs.

Some of these artistes include ‘Tupaate’ hitmaker, Pia Pounds whose song won the Outstanding Video Award and Song of the Year, Liam Voice the Outstanding Artiste of the Year, the Emerging Artiste Zex Bilangilangi, Pallaso (Male Artiste Of The Year), Kenneth Mugabi, Feffe Bussi etc.

The concert will be aired on both NBS and Sanyuka Television from 4pm to 7pm and from 10pm till late.

 With the entertainment Industry still under lockdown the UG Connect Concert gives artistes a platform to showcase their art and keep in touch with their fans.

The show also aims at spreading hope to Ugandans through music, dance and drama.

Next Media Services Board Member, Isaac Rucci, noted that the E-concert has been dubbed UG Hope concert because Hope is all we need as we look forward to January.
