Ugandans are arguably some of the funniest people on the internet. This claim has enjoyed fresh legs after President Yoweri Museveni advised Ugandans to eat muwogo if bread is expensive.

Museveni made the ‘ironic’ comment while presiding over the Labour Day celebrations at Kololo on Sunday.

As usual, Ugandans took to social media to unleash their comic talents. It’s no surprise that cassava is among the most trending words in Uganda.
