BUILDING COLLAPSE: Three dead, four removed alive as the search continues

The police rescue teams are still racing to find survivors following the collapse of a building in Ndejje Milimu today at around 8 a.m.

According to police, though they have managed to remove some victims, more are believed to be trapped in the rubble.

“Four people were removed from the collapsed building alive and rushed to different hospitals, while three bodies have been recovered and are to be conveyed to City Mortuary Mulago for postmortem. Rescue efforts are still ongoing,” said police in a statement.
