Singer Winnie Nwakangi, better known as Winnie Nwagi, has opened up about her fellow singer Azawi holding a concert before her. The duo is under Swangz Avenue management.

Last week, Swangz Avenue announced that Azawi is to hold her maiden concert, dubbed “Azawi African Music Concert,” on July 22, 2022.

Following the announcement, Winnie Nwagi fans on social media wondered why Swangz decided to hold a concert for Azawi before Nwagi, who has been there for more than five years.

However, during an interview on local television, Nwagi said that she has no problem with Azawi holding a concert before her.

According to the singer, she believes that this is Azawi’s time to shine, so people should support her as they patiently wait for her to stage her concert.

“We all have different goals. Azawi wanted a concert and I don’t have any problems with that because it’s her time to shine. However, my concert is also happening soon, the label is waiting for me to decide and we are also still agreeing on something to stage it,” said Nwagi.

Meanwhile, in 2019, there were reports that Nwagi was to hold her concert, but it didn’t happen.
